Our Story

My family has worked with wood since 1987. I grew up around it, the smell, the grain, the weight of it. I know what this material is capable of.

Which is why I was always frustrated by wooden homewares. Beautiful material. Boring shapes. A cutting board. A salad bowl. Objects that exist, but don't say anything.

Wood deserves better than that.

Maniete was built to change what a wooden object can be. Each piece is designed to hold presence in a room, not just to sit on your table, but to reshape the space around it. Everyday objects, made extraordinary.
